Okay, if you have a goal to be more attractive, WHY ON EARTH would you put a thick dark brown or almost black line around your lips? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? When I’m trying to talk to a woman with contrasting lip liner, even lighter shades, I can’t stop looking at the liner. Sheesh! The point of make-up is to bring out your best features and accentuate in a positive way, your beauty. That dark lip liner does just the opposite.
If I walk by a woman who has contrasting liner, especially if it’s dark, I notice that and not their face, or their eyes, the most important place to guide people’s eyes. Not with scary eye make-up though. The same goes for eyes as lips. Crazy shadow colors, horrible black, thick liner, crazy eyebrows. What’s the deal with plucking ALL the hairs and then drawing them back in a thin line? Again, what are you thinking? It only makes you look creepy.
Okay, now this is supposed to be about giving you dating advice. I’m assuming one of the appealing things about dating is being attractive to a great guy. You want him to want to kiss you, right? Loopy lips, with that dark liner, would be for him like wanting to kiss a thin mustache that’s in the wrong place. And Halloween-mask eye make-up is equally off-putting.
If you’re not sure, ask someone at the make-up counter to give you an honest opinion about your make-up. And ask an older woman who is obviously classy. Not one of those young women who have scary make-up. Unless you’re looking for a guy who is pierced and tattooed, don’t go for the scary look. If you want a really good guy, you want to look like the kind of woman your ideal type of man dates. Notice how they dress and how they do their hair and make-up. Be classy, not trashy, or worse, scary.
Take a fresh look at what you do to be attractive and make whatever alterations will transform you into a beautiful, classy woman.
