It’s frustrating and confusing when you’re getting to know a man and he shows you lots of attention, calling, emailing, texting, making dates…then wham, he pulls back and you hardly hear from him.

If a man is really interested, no matter what his excuses are, he’ll find the time to be with you, or at least do everything he can to make you feel secure so you won’t go somewhere else.

Rather than calling, emailing, or texting him, this is a time to wait and watch. If he’s really interested, he will reach out. If not, he won’t. Pressing him will only push him away. When we have feelings for a man it’s hard to just sit back, especially if we’re afraid to find out he’s lost interest.

One way or another, you’ll find out how interested he is…or not. Remember, a man’s job is to pursue and a woman’s is to receive. When you start doing the pursuing he no longer gets to enjoy being the man and you no longer get to enjoy being the woman. You should hold out for a man who makes you feel special, beautiful, cherished and adored. When you have to do all the chasing, no one is having any fun.

During this time of waiting, stay busy, go out with friends, take care of yourself, find ways to enjoy life. You should be doing that anyway, with or without a man in your life. One way or another, you’ll find out how interested he is…or not.
