“Now,” Diedra gave me one of those laser looks that I was getting used to, “let’s get into today’s topic: your heart.”
I know I must have had a completely blank look on my face because Diedra laughed, “No, this isn’t about that heart, I’m talking about your emotional and spiritual heart. Although we can use your heart organ to help make my point.
“Just as with any muscle in your body, if you don’t use it, if there’s a blockage of blood, or you don’t keep it in good shape, it will hold you back and diminish your ability to live a fulfilling life.
“I want your emotional and spiritual heart—that part of your being that is able to consciously and purposefully send out and receive love—to be as strong, supple and healthy as possible. As the heart in your chest pumps blood and keeps you alive physically, your emotional heart pumps love, keeping you alive emotionally.
Everything we’ll be doing together is designed to help you have a heart that is in the best shape possible; fully able to experience love pulsing through you, no matter what your age or life circumstances. Your Woman Energy is the outward, visible expression of that love.
“You don’t know it yet, but if your Woman Energy isn’t as strong as it can be, you won’t experience your life as fully as you would like.
“On the flip side of that is something just as troubling: if your Woman Energy isn’t radiating, you will not have as much love flowing into your life.
“Others need to be attracted to you for their hearts to open to loving you. They need to feel your Woman Energy pulsating out toward them. Otherwise, it’s almost as if you’re invisible. They aren’t aware all this is going on, but they don’t need to be. Only you do. You’re in charge of your Woman Energy and my goal is to help you get it dusted off, polished shiny-bright, and radiating like never before in your life.
“Throughout time the heart has been used as a metaphor and symbol of love. You know how you can jump-start a car when the battery is dead?”
I nodded.
“Well, what I want to have happen for you is to jump-start your entire being, from deep within you, all the way out to the surface, so that your Woman Energy gets turned on again. I want that dimmer switch turned on full force. Once you’ve accomplished that, you’ll be the woman you want to be.”
